This past week was a busy one in the Schmid/Taylor houses as we celebrated my dad's birthday, my parent's anniversary, Father's day and, most importantly, my birthday! (jk!) It was a week full of eating yummy food and waaaay to many desserts! My dad had to work on his birthday, so we ordered a big cookie cake to take to the nursery for everyone to eat! Thursday at work my sweet co-workers had flowers, a balloon and cake for me! Such a nice, sweet surprise!! =) Thursday night was Sundown in the City and The Wailers were the band for the evening...we met up with some friends and had a great night! Sundown is always a fun part of my birthday celebration and this year was different! Friday night my running group and spouses ate at La Costa on Market Square to celebrate our birthdays, as most of our happen in the 
late spring/early summer! We had so much fun and the food was great! Saturday (after our run of course!) Mom, Dad, Chris and I headed out to the lake for a bit to enjoy the nice weather...so relaxing! We then had our family celebration dinner at Foothills Milling Company in Maryville...this is seriously the best food in east tn. I got the grouper which was excellent! Sunday was my actual birthday and I was awoken with breakfast in bed! I shared it with willie bec
ause he is always hungry!! I came down to open my presents from chris--i got a big double shepard's hook and bird feeder for the new backyard as well as some movies. He was very creative in his display of my gifts! We went to church and then just Chris, Willie and I went to the lake for the afternoon. We got willie to swim after his ball in the lake and he actually had fun!! He was super tired until Monday from all of his swimming! Sunday night the whole Schmid family came over to mom and dad's for bday/father's day celebrations! It was such a good week of being with friends and family and I am so blessed with such great people in my life! =)On another note, we head to Pawley's this Sunday for a week and I cannot wait! I love work but I love having
a vacation even more!!!! Looking forward to a week of relaxing! After we get back, we close on our house july 9th and movers come that Saturday! So life will be busy when we get back, I've already started packing the house...which is not fun!!!
